Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, and talented individual to join our construction company as a CDL and/or Heavy Equipment operator. As part of our team, you work in the completion of various major concrete projects, always ensuring a safe and efficient workplace. Utilizing Scrapers, Water Pulls, Dozers, Loaders, Excavators/Backhoes, Motor Graders, and/or other heavy equipment for a variety of projects. This is a safety sensitive position that is responsible for operating heavy construction equipment with knowledge of hazards and safety precautions and awareness and of cut/fill operations for a variety of projects.

 

Performance of routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervision is required daily.

CDL/Heavy Equipment Ops Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks and schedules with crew and supervisor members

• Maintaining equipment to safety specs and coordinating any necessary repairs for equipment.

• Heavy equipment and diesel mechanic experience highly desired.

Operator Requirements and Qualifications

• Knowledge of concrete, masonry, and other construction projects

• Heavy equipment operation: 2 years (Required)

• Knowledge of concrete construction procedures and OSHA guidelines

• Experience with blueprint reading is a plus

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• High School graduate or G.E.D preferred

• Subject to background and drug screen
